Dedicated Language Professional with Commitment to Quality and Client Satisfaction

I have been interested in language and culture ever since high school where I took French and taught myself German. This interest led me to participate in a study abroad program where I had the great fortune to live and attend high school in Berlin for 10 months. My education continued at the University of Heidelberg where I completed the German Abitur equivalency program. I later went on to study German and French translation at the FTSK Germersheim of the University of Mainz in Germany. Throughout my six and half years living in Germany and extensive travel in France, I was able to achieve fluency in both German and French, while also starting to learn Spanish.

I eventually returned to my home country and finished my bachelor's degree in German translation with a minor in international business at Kent State University in Ohio.

I'm based in South Carolina and have worked as a German and French to English freelance translator for five years, mainly in the areas of marketing, film/TV, iGaming (poker) and business communications. I offer services in translation, editing/proofreading, subtitling, interpreting, transcription and US localization. To learn more about my services and the industries I serve, click here.

We have had the opportunity to collaborate with Kris now for a few years, and at APlus Translations Inc. (translation agency based in Vancouver, Canada) we only accumulated great comments about Kris’ translation work. Always excellent quality translations and delivered on time. What else can a translation agency ask for? Oh, yes! Kris is very pleasant to work with, enthusiastic and passionate of his work, and he walks the extra mile to get it well done. So, if you are looking for a great FR to EN translator in the subjects Kris presents his expertise, our recommendation is that you can stop searching as you already found it with Kris.
